Description

'Somewhere, in one of the colder parts of the world- a debilitated town sits, empty, reclaimed by the elements. The buildings still stand, for the most part. Broken windows, fallen walls, and locked doors. But still standing. If you were to go inside, you'd find everything there- completely untouched. A frozen breakfast sits at a table, a piece of toast still sticking out of the toaster, waiting to be taken by the hungry child whose toys are still in the next room. An 'Open For Business!' sign hangs on the door of a general store on the main boulevard. In one apartment- the phone hangs from the hook. Another phone- all the way across town- is positioned just the same. Right in front of a window, too. A car sits in a mechanic's garage. The stove that kept him warm while he worked has long since gone cold- but his tools still sit right next to his packed lunch. But nobody is around. Nobody has been in decades, probably. Where did they all go? And what caused them to leave? The answers- buried in the snow.'

Remember what I said Sam, sketch the character with the background! She looks really tall compared to the buildings!
That story, though, man. Impressive writing,.
